    • Cost $30 per person can pay in different currencies but best paid in USD
    • Will also need to provide 1 recent passport photo 
  • Riel is local currency but they also used USD
  • Khmer is local language

    • Come around 5:30pm for to enjoy dinner and a pre show performance; then 8pm for main show.
    • Helps support the local community and its artist.
    • In my opinion: I went with some friends and had a great time, so worth it especially if you want a nice wholesome evening.

    • Here you’ll learn about the Hero Rats that detect left over landmines around Cambodia from war.

All about Angkor Wat

Before going

  • Best time to visit is November -mid April
  • Get there before sunrise 
  • 1 day pass cost $37 usd; valid for 2 entries on consecutive days 
  • Open all week 5am-5:30pm; most temples open at 7:30pm
  • Can not get tickets on site, need to stop by Angkor park pass ticket counter (google that exactly)
  • Ticket office does not open till 5am; tickets purchased after 5pm are good for the next day
  • Upcharge when buying tickets online 
  • Dress modestly 
  • Carry ticket at all times
  • Temples not included: phnom kulen mountain ($5), koh ker archaeological site ($15)
